Hey guys I found in a brasr file inside of Brawl's Iso some Mewtwo sound. Ok inside this Brsar file there is a folder called snd_player_system inside of that folder theres another called snd_group_chara_select (inside this there are the sound that the character make when you select them) and inside of this folder there's a wave sound file called snd_vc_select_mewtwo.wav o_0 the file is 44 bytes and it doesnt work (all other works perfectly)

I felt that isn't necessary open a new thread just for this

EDIT

MEWTWO SOUND FILE

very interesting...now only if we could edit the models in pbr so we could have makeshift platinum formes, that would be be win, but that probably won't happen. still a cool idea though

Way to go guys!
Good idea, good job!

Hey, i am about to do it once it finishes dumping my ISO...
How do I convert songs to be used in the game using the tool you mentioned?
Where do I put them so they can be used in specific places in the game?, or how do I name them?
Thanks in advance

*If you want to put your own music on the game just use the Androu1 BRSTM Tool or the Ihsan's BRSTM-WAV (UN)PACKER

It was originally used to edit brawl and texture hacks HAVE BEEN DONE for both mario kart wii and smash bros wii

so there is a possibility if anyone speaks decent spanish to get some help with the texture department

Androu1 BRSTM Tool

QUOTENote: it’s recommended that you have ActivePerl installed
http://www.activestate.com/activeperl/

This a little tool I made to make the BRSTM making process EVEN EASIER (it’s amazingly easy as it is, but it’s never easy enough).

It comes with EVERYTHING included (even the SDK stuff that is required).

Thanks to Unblessed_Zaku_MKII for making that guide and to hcs64 for making the Revolution B

Download the tool by clicking this link!

Enjoy!

EDIT-Version 2: the original version had a minor problem that caused the loop points to mess up. I am REALLY sorry for that mess. To whoever has downloaded this, redownload it! Also included Perl and a little code to make it delete EVERYTHING but the Lentgh part of the TXT, just to make it a tad better.

Ihsan's BRSTM-WAV (UN)PACKER
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=D3GFEYM2

Tut:
http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...cial%26hs%3D553

both should come with instructions on the Download page (just google them) as well as in the archive you often find a READ ME txt that can give you step by step instruction, just get a MP3 you want to convert stick it in a folder (where ever to store it) then browse for the mp3 and convert it with the tool...you will know what to name a file bye simply looking through the partition's SOUND directory with Wii scrubber (open the iso in wii scrubber you will see the files) and next writing down the name of the file you will mod extract it if you like and stick it in another folder for reference if you want to
wink.gif
...then make your converted file....Name it with the SAME TITLE (context sensitive) and use Wii Scrubber 1.4 to guide your self to that file again....right click on the one you want to change and choose replace as darkds described in the first post....

basics is this:

Androu1 BRSTM Tool or the Ihsan's BRSTM-WAV (UN)PACKER is to convert files to the proper formats

use wii scrubber to extract-edit and replace the modded file...

Dark can prob explain better if hes on later

I am mexican so it should be a breeze, thanks a lot.

check back in a few minutes

open the iso in wii scrubber and you will see this click on the second partition indicated by arrow in the picture

Locate and expand the first Sound directory....

Now expand the second sound directory and you will find the music files for battletopia amoung others

I succesfully replaced the colosseums with custom songs (Pokemon related).

Still.. i want to know, what file(s) are the announcer voice?

I got the JAP version of this game and i extracted that file.
Well, i put in the USA version, and nearly all sounds are weird, moving to menu you listen an attack sound, and the announcer doesn't speak, or speak rarely.
If is that the only file where is the announcer, i think the file itself need to be edited only in the parts of the announcer voice.

If you want to try it, i can upload it, i don't know if i can post later a link here, if not, request me by PM.
