Please help migrate SXOS to Atmosphere

I have a few questions and need help with migrating from SXOS to Atmosphere. I bought the Nintendo switch hacked a few years ago and did the last update years ago so I am a noob to hacking so please bear with me. I can no longer update SXOS because they are now dead? so when i download games from tinfoil freeshop. the newest games dont work.

I am not sure if i use sysnand or emunand? I always have my switch in sleep mode but if it dies I have to boot it by using the dongle and jig and holding the + and power button.

If I migrate to atmosphere how does that work? And would i still boot my switch using the dongle and jig. ( one piece goes into charger port and one piece in one of the joycon slots)

My goal is to be able to download the newest games in tinfoil freeshop and play them. All my games get downloaded to the SD card.

You're going to need to know if you use Sysnamd or Emunand.

I honestly can't help you with that. I use sysnand only.

Hopefully someone else can post in here with that information.

Go to sxos menu via allbum. Right next where it reads your sxos version, it will say if it is on emunand.

Since you are not sure, my bet is on sysnand.

You can check to see if emuMMC is enabled by going into the initial SX OS menu. SX OS boots emuMMC by default if its enabled.
