Works better with the remote+ than a remote and a motion+ dongle, many of the spurious complaints about the controls not workin were people using the dongle (the rest were playing in spaces with too many electronics creating interference, like game "journalists" or lets players

you could look into using dolphin, i would assume you could use any control you like with pc emulation, its something i have been meaning to to do for a while now thanks for the reminder.

Even if you did use dolphin, the player may find difficulties playing other ways simply cause it was designed to be played a specific way. Unless the game could be reprogrammed or something. I wish i could play sonic riders zero gravity on wii u but without gamecube support, you are only forced to just use wii mote which I do not want to. :ninja:

only way is witch a wii motion plus wii remove and a nunchuck the game is so heavily designed around it the game is pretty much unplayable without

i could see it maybe working with a wii U gamepad, switch pro controller, 3ds, etc. anything with motion controls that work by gyroscopic other than tracking ir sensors. but not with regular controllers certainly.

I cant even see that seeing the game relies on motion controls for near everything

there are loads off ways to look at a wiimote
wiimote is just an air mouse anyway a regular mouse could be used with button combinations, you could have every direction with controlpad sticks, a button could be assigned for a light touch or more fierce motion basically doubling the inputs on both the sticks and even the buttons. You could simply hold a button making the twist motion assigning it to ether a trigger or a stick for more precision, same for push and pull, any input with the wiimote is only an on off input its just a case of defining the controls there are only so many directions on the wiimote each could be defined as a button. a nostromo controller and mouse would be cool if it was all worked out basically a keyboard and mouse would work, when defining a particular game its not as complicated as it seems

Same here, and we are in slight luck. But sadly it's not ready for sonic riders zg.

the creator of ctgp r has been making a braindump patch, and recently he got ctgpr working with the wiiu gc adapter, and included it in a official update for the mod. And even better, is the braindump patch is open sourced, but in it's current state, riders zg doesn't work yet with it.
