So, long story short: I'm not that interested in the gameplay itself as I'm interested in seeing what's pretty much an interactive remembering of The Beatles. I don't own and don't intend on owning any peripherals, and I don't own an USB microphone either. I'm not sure whether I can play with the Wiimote alone, but I believe not - yet I'm willing to put it to test.

Is there any way for me to actually play it with only a Wii Remote? Are there hacks? Cheat codes? Any way I can play it via Wiiflow on my Wii U, or would emulating it on Dolphin and mapping the notes to controller buttons actually be the best choice? Does it work nicely on Dolphin, are there any set-ups or tutorials on how to make it work better?

If I remember correctly you can play Rockband 2 with just the wiimote, so I think the Beatles Rockband would work the same. Also you just need ANY USB microphone to do the singing portion, doesn't need to be one even designed to work on the Wii.

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it.

It can act as a swap drive but that isn't more RAM, it's slooow.
