My 4 year old son loves Mariokart on his NDS (he has the R4 with wood firmware).
Now i have the 3DS with gateway i tried to create a MP match but it leads me to the wifi settings.

On my sons system i have no problems setting up wifi ,
but on my 3DS i won't find my wifi signal.

Anyone has a solution?
Is this a known problem?

thx

Might as well get the easy ones outta the way:

- Is the wifi switch turned to the ON position on your 3DS?
- Have you checked your router settings to make sure it can accept another device?

I've never tried MP on DS games on my Gateway's blue card, but my 3DS does see the wifi signal.

There's a switch on the side of the 3DS that turns wifi off and on.

Also, you don't need to configure wifi settings, just have wifi on. Connecting to internet just makes it more likely that you (or your son) accidentally updates your 3DS.

my 3DS now finds my wifi connection (by turnin on the wifi switch LOL) but when i try to connect it keeps hanging on testing connection.
The NDS lite from my son connected flawless to the same network...
