Homebrew Playing disks with haxchi installed

• Hi all, bit of a stupid question I'm on firmware 5.5.3 with haxchi installed and I'm installing games on a hard drive. Can you play games from disks at the same time as having haxchi installed.Will it try to update the game when I put the disk in, wherever I look I'm getting different answers cheers

I'm not sure what you're asking. Haxchi is just a shortcut icon to launch CFW or HBL. It has no impact on your console's ability to play games from disc. As far as your console is concerned the games on your external HDD are no different from legit games from the eshop on an external HDD.

Thank you for replying, I just have a load of wii discs and didn't want to mess around installing them to the hard drive or affecting the haxchi app

Once Haxchi is installed, the disk reader should still work as all haxchi does is it replaces a dc game and makes it a shortcut to the HBL.
