I recently got myself a second hand DS Lite. I also happened to own an Acekard 2i, which doing my research, is compatible with the DS Lite. Yet every time I put it in, it always doesn't register on the console. So am I doing something wrong here? Do I need to use a different bootloader or something along those lines? I really need help with this.

Firstly, did you install the OS on the microSD card?

If so:
  • it might be getting poor contact. Stick a piece of paper behind the card to press the contacts against the pins in the DS. This will make the card a little difficult to pull out.
  • You might be using a fake/damaged microSD card, or a card larger than 16GB. If larger, use a 16GB card. Else, check with h2testw.
  • Or your Acekard could be defective.

I tested it out with a smaller MicroSD Card, and the use of paper to push against the contacts, and I was able to get it working. Thanks for the help!
