Hacking Play .mp4 files

On my Acekard 2 using Bliss OS i wanna play .mp4 files..what program do i need
i use moonshell but says it cant play it doesnt support that extension..

so how do i play .mp4 files if possible?

If they are video then DPG or your chosen DS video based app is what you need.

MP4 can also be audio though (sometimes appearing under the m4a moniker but such things are discouraged in some circles).
In this case it could be almost anything, the most common is AAC and AC3. Nobody uses AC3 for stuff other than DVDs really so it is likely AAC.

Moonshell added AAC way back ( http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=40900&hl= ) although you are limited to lower bit rates and some of the higher profiles can not be decoded.
LMP-ng is a nice player as far as I am aware there is no AAC support.

Can i just simply get a .mp4 to .dpg converter
then convert my files then drag them to my ak2
boot up moonshell and play the files?

I know..but cant i just get that one converter (from the link they gave me)
and just convert and put on my AK2 then run moonshell and play ?

Use the DPG convertor to convert from .mp4 to .dpg formate

I see we are in a loop. I will attempt to break it.

DOWNLOAD SUPER VIDEO CONVERTER, AND USE IT TO CONVER THE .MP4 TO DPG. THIS IS THE ONLY POSSIBLE WAY.
