Hacking pin code

i have had to replace my mobo with a second hand board after the gw fiasco which i bought off ebay my problem is does anybody no how to reset the parental pin as its locked i have tried to ask the people who i bought it of but dosent no as it was bought in a job lot.i can send it to nintendo and have it unlocked by them free of charge but i thought id ask you guys if theres any way i can do it.

Do you have your emunand setup? I believe you can extract your emunand and use that to restore, it would be restored to whatever you emunand was updated to, but it's better than it going to waste and could sell it on or keep it for spares

Does anyone have a 3ds (preferably xl) that they'd either volunteer on a temporary basis or be willing to sell in effort to test brute forcing the passcode algorithm used by Gateway via raspberry pi? I have been working on it with my wife's 3ds but she also uses it so I can't keep it bricked for long stretches of time.

I happened upon another couple from a seller on eBay, I'm going to test some code that was provided to me to see how we look this week. I will have purchased 3x4.5 motherboards by issue's end if this is an pretty done deal. I would like to thank those that helped point me in the right direction
