Hi All,

Started a new threat with some prefixes to see if i can get some more support following my attempted mod.

So, i got the picofly and flex cables attached and was able to get the "No SD Card" screen but i was unable to get in to OFW nor Sysnand when launching from Hakate. I was unable to get the OFW by pressing + - without the SD card plugged in. All i get is black screen.

I can feel the nvidia chip warming up when i plug the power back in, but nothing on the screen at all. (i dont leave it on long).

I have also now fully removed all the mods... (Flex and picofly) but still cannot now get the switch to boot in to OFW. I just get a black screen. Below are some photos of the board after all mods are removed. Is there anything you can suggest or see that i can try to get this alive again?

The reads that i am getting are below.

3.3v = 0.484
A (CMD) = 0.560
B (RST) = 0.435
C (DAT0) = 0.567
D (CLK) = 0.464
SP1 = 0.014
SP2 = 0.014

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Those readings look fine.

Was your SD card working fine before the mod?
Any damage around the shield where you cut the shield?
Are the cmd/clk resistors still on the board and do they read something like several kilo-ohms?
Have you tried cleaning the board with some IPA alcohol?

Do you get any signs of life with just the board, screen, battery? The SD card board may be damaged.

Check the diode readings for the screen connector and sd card board connector against the data here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/xzzs-switch-boardviews-cracked.663854/ (open with flexbv free to view the obdata)

Also check if you see any scratched traces around the cpu/ram shield

Hi Mate,

Yeah, SD card was working fine. Like i say, i was able to get in to Hakate just fine.

No damage around the shield.

Yup, the resistors are still on the board. I got the below readings...
18.21 on cmd.
Which resistor are you referring to near the clk point?

Yup - thoroughly cleaned the board with IPA.

Thanks for your reply to my thread.

Hey, Thanks for pointing me to the OB viewer and related board files.

Managed to understand how it works lol..... Checking the readings on the screen connector, the readings are there of thereabout.

Just with the board / video / battery connected, i still only get the black screen. So evey if the SD board is damaged, id expect to be able to boot in to OFW?

Either 18.21 KOhm or 18.21 Ohms is not right. They are supposed to be something like 4.7KOhm.

Afaik, the SD board is not needed, you should at least see the Nintendo logo.

Thanks, maybe im not using my multimeter correctly?

I have it set to measure ohms, but may be on the right value.

According to flexbv values for that point in Diode mode, i am getting the redings below:

0.382 & 0.564. (Flexbv shows it should be 0.308 & 0.476).
