Purple screen is normally from a different issue, image taken from switchbrew, my thing is to try and collect information on why we getting blue and black so much and what the common factors are

@abal1000x had a theory about the defective dat0 adapter. In that case, more questions about removing dat0 adapter need to be asked.

I did a my first OLED today and I felt the same, however it isnt that bad. Have a multimeter in diode mode put positive lead on ground (apu shield or usbc con) and use negative lead to test DAT0 point. should be .5 - .9

Hi guys!
So ... I tried to install the picofly into a switch lite, and the first time i plugged the battery, i noticed that the CPU is turning really hot. so i unplug it quickly :(
scared of the possibility of having a dead-fried switch, i unsolder 3.3v and gnd (i guess that this disabled the chip), and after that i got PURPLE SCREEN.

as far i've read the thread, it seems that a purple screen is fixable, but do i need the picofly working, right? (to boot hekate and read the eMMC and stuff)

i installed picofly on a erista v1 and all went fine. maybe the lite is having issues with picofly?

bagi file atmos skynya dong
What is this?, please use goog translate at the very least.
You can download official atmos from here, no need third party sources.
https://github.com/Atmosphere-NX/Atmosphere
Or go here for easier.

Check mosfet instalation and cpu flex, redo if necessary.

And no need for this jumper.

You must restore the ability to boot into OFW first.
1. Remove D0 from mainboard clean it with flux, use macro camera to confirm. Try ofw boot, if failed then
2. Remove cmd&clk from mainboard, clean it, try, if failed then
3. Remove rst.
4. Remove CPU flex.
5. Remove all.

Once you boot an OFW then redo the instalation with fresh cables, this time take it slow and precise. And before wiring it into Pico make sure that it can boot to ofw before.

For example, in this condition the unit should be able to boot into OFW.

I have removed picofl and all cables are back to normal but still won't boot, is there something wrong?
Check any damage on solder points? traces? components? shorts?
Oftenly black screen is caused by short, clean all again with flux and hope.
Death sentence should be corrupt emmc or dead cpu.

I just installed picofly, then I turned it on, it turned green and turned on, after that I turned it off again and I turned it on, it just turned on blue again and I booted without picoflay, it doesn't want it, but when Picofly wants to go green, the switch normally turns on, does it have to boot using picofly now?? I'm so confused

a video or picture would help.
And you dont need to have pico installed just to boot ofw.
Also be patient, and prepare now to order new flex cable and new rp board, if you still want to continue the mod.
If you cannot succeed with existing accs then buy a spare and test fresh.

For comparisson, i killed almost 5 pico boards, although it was normal pi pico, maybe at the trimming stage it broke some traces. But thats the price.

Hi,
I have rather interesting problem with Picofly. I installed it, NO SD screen is pretty fast but it is booting hekate really slow 30-40 seconds and it couldn't init SD Card. I can boot to OFW and it couldn't see SD Card either. I changed SD Card PCB with another no luck. There is no visible damage on SD Card connector and Mainboard connector.

BTW: OLED with SK Hynix EMMC and I tried different known good SD Card.

What can cause this? I can't partition the SD because it can't init.

Regards,
