Meanwhile, extra resistor on the mosfet are needed only with new firmwares?

In my previous installations do I have to add?
You can add if those unit come back to you and you need to diassemble, if not then just leave it.
No its not tied to the firmware version.
Only low voltage glitch requiring lattest firmware.

sorry, So, if I install a rp2040 today, can I install the latest firmware without resistor on mosfet or do I need to install fw 2.67?

I don't know where to find mosfet resistors in a short time, however I have to install several chips in a short time and I don't know whether to install the latest firmware or leave 2.67 (which has been fine up to now).

If one views you drawing from "dead bug" (bottom up) perspective, it's wrong. The resistor should be connected between the Gate (pin 3) and the Source pin on the MOSFET. Instead, if you replicate rehius' pic, that's the (correct) way.

Yes!
Right now you have a "flipped diagram" version of rehius' picture. Since there's only one gate pin, it should be easy to follow ;)

FWI, under no circumstances should you try this without resistors. I was stupid and impatient and read the FAQ where it said

"Q: Do I really need 47 Ohm resistors?
A: You can skip them, however in this case you will have to use emuMMC due to the line interference, sysNAND would not boot."

My whole NAND got corrupted when I ran it without resistors and tried to make a NAND backup. I checked my NAND backup and it was unable to decrypt it had been corrupted. I went into Hekate's eMMC viewing tool and saw that the GPT table had been fucked. I was able to rebuild, but of course without a good PRODINFO.
If you're thinking of skimping on resistors, simply don't.

Hi, i have similar problem on a lite.
After install picofly, boots hekate and start backup boot1 and boot 0, continue with nand ... and a message appers say something like that " emmc is in slow mode ,and backup of nand was failure.

I turn it off the lite and never boot again after put aditional resistor to dat0 an cmd, now i can boot hekate but hos can boot maybe are corrupted.

The video is the way to repair the console????

Those who ask can refer this. V2 with Pi pico, 1Kohm pulldown resistor on board, 100ohm Dat0 to eliminate slow emmc warning.
Not doing some low voltage glitch feature yet, maybe next install.

Yes you can.
Ok, I installed today with 2.73 FW on a lite switch, classic installation, 1 mosfet, I didn't add resistor on mosfet, I didn't solder sda, scl either.
Everything starts instantly.
So, can I avoid adding?

you should avoid scl/sda, only when you can't do without it

1K Ohm is recommended, if possible. it makes the whole setup safier. less chances of accidental mosfet enable
do I have to buy and wait for them to arrive or are they available somewhere on the rp2040 pcb? In these days I will have to install other rp2040, they would not arrive in time for the installations.

You need 1k or larger, most of the people who put resistor here used 3k, so you can probably find one in that range from some donor board so you don't have to wait

Not really, most of the problems can occur during installation so if they are done and closed I don't think it's worth the hassle of redoing everything.
But I think we should be adding them in the future.

I already put the solder mask and hardened it so it would be mess to add a resistor. But I'll try to add on the AON mosfet when I'll recieve the shipment.

You can also try this approach by @abal1000x adding the resistor in Pico between CPU point and Boot button's lower solder pad (Ground)
I don't know if it works but looks interesting

This is actually interesting. I'm also thinking about this one to add a resistor somewhere else but not on the mosfet. This method is easy right now because I don't want to tear down my switch all the way. Btw Looks Good @abal1000x

You must use hekate or memloader v3 to back up your mmc nand chip. And use unbrick nintendo switch there are 3 video up 4 videos can help you but to your console broblume use the video same your broblume only.your misteaks is not read the slow mmc mod fix there are add resistor to chip befor you dump mmc raw nand.
