looks like i should buy it before it gets expensive x D i don't need it cause i have v1 but when this can finally boot to atmo who knows maybe some oled for me ^^

except that board what should i buy :D?

RPi-2040 zero from Waveshare.
3 x 47 Ohm resistors.
either:
- or the HWFLY FPC cable for your switch with mosfets built in
~30gauge Kynar or enamel speaker wire

I smell scam on that part mainly from at that point you're paying foe the fw. Hmmm
I see nothing wrong with this. You pay for software all the time. Have an old DS flashcart? Paid for software on those too.

I’m starting to see why Horizon booting was not allowed in public releases. This firmware will most likely end up for sale when Horizon is figured out and made reliable. My question is who’s making the PCB for everything? Because if this amount of work has gone into the firmware, there’ll almost certainly be an attached pre-made glitch chip.

I had already started designing one for the OLED as it’s very similar to the v1 so I was using the v1 as a template.

No , guy is a reliable source with somehow having private access . He is one of the biggest distributor in country (or so do I think) . I am pretty sure some pages back there were speculations that fw was intentionally blocked or intentional flashing issues or something.

Edit : doesn't have access

not at all if firmware is open prices will drop down to half the price of hwfly cause many will be able to rebuild , redisign ;)
Yes but it is not open. At least not the version that will boot HOS. It sounds like, as some suspected, that version will be kept private and you will either be paying for it according to supply & demand or you will be waiting for a developer who isn't interested in profiting off their hard work to actually release the HOS booting code. I can certainly see an option where someone purchases the hardware and software separately but I suspect most will want an all in one solution with QSB like HWFLY has now. It may well push prices down simply by being an alternative to HWFLY but they won't be $20 - $30 if that's what people are expecting.

it’s just a preference. If you have 47 ohm through hole resistors on hand they will absolutely work

waveshare ones are $3-5. How much world hunger are yiu looking to solve with your savings? LOL

replacing a transistor with resistors
Sorry, I know the difference between resistor and mosfet (transistor). I was confused by the word "either" in this post
3 x 47 Ohm resistors.
either:
- this mosfet
in my native language it is translated in the same way as "or", that's why I asked

dude

either:
- this mosfet https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/196/Infineon_IRFHS8342_DataSheet_v01_01_EN-1228323.pdf
- or the HWFLY FPC cable for your switch with mosfets built in
mosfet or cable from hwfly
:X

Iam looking for this mosfet but best i can find is IRFHS8342TRPBF looks like it is the same but what do i know? :D
