These are all errors that depend on the DAT0. with the exception of having made huge mistakes, the only problematic point (even with kamikaze if not done well) is the DAT0

The issue was indeed with the dat0 point, BUT it wasn’t due to a bad solder joint.

The culprit was the dat0 flex cable, as you can see—on the left is the faulty flex.
When the switch heated up, the solder balls would expand, and it would end up picking up some other value from a nearby point.

Thanks, everyone, for all the help; this unlock made me lose a bit of hair lol.

Not sure if I can post this here, but I'm getting somewhat desperate since there seems to be a lack of information on my issue.

Recently I discovered a short on a capacitor beside the sd card/game card reader pcb port on an HEG-CPU-01 board I've been trying to repair.

My question is if this is shorted, is there a chip that may be defective & this is simply an indication of its failure, or does the capacitor need to be replaced itself?

Also what would the value be of the capacitor if it needs to be replaced?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The XinZhiZao (XZZ) of each layer, you could track down that capacitor connect to where. (credit to @Hassal)

You could also track the the pcb route from here

I also attach the top component of oled (credit to @Hassal)

A questions on what causes slow EMMC on Picofly - So i installed a Picofly tiny all resistors are 47 latest picofly firmware into a lite - and it boots perfectly no issues - Then i use picofly tiny again everything the same but then i get slow emmc added extra resistors and works perfectly

Does slow emmc mode depends on the actual EMMC of the switch or is it just random. Flux ? Wire issues

Thanks guys

Customer say his mode nintendo switch oled working cfw but the ofw boot purple secreen. How fix???

the resistor on the mainboard that you've soldered the cmd point to was damaged by the heat and needs to be replaced. It's 4.7k ohm 0201

Imperfections in the production process. Some RP2040's have higher levels of electrical noise than others, and some CPU's are more sensitive to such noise when reading from the EMMC than others.
It's a good idea to always add the extra resistors, or use 100/100/47 from the start

These adapters are horrible (both of them) ! You will always have problems with such adapters. You must disgard them and use the correct ones.

And which good adapters can I use? Is there any photo where I can see which ones are good? Thank you

First time poster here but I have been reading this thread a long time. Thx all for the valuable info.

Does anyone know what type of connector is on the Switch motherboard for the Bluetooth antenna? Is it ipex 3 or ipex 4?

Hi !

I modded like 50+ OLEDs but this one is very strange..

I have an instinct-nx v6s on an OLED. 1 time out of 5/6 it can't glitch error code is purple --> fixed white.
I did reflow my points, changed chip but nothing.

I wanted to connect the chip to the computer, to diagnose the boot and then try to read de error code.
But when I diagnose the boot through computer 'd' it NEVER fails... So I have no error code to read...

I tried 'r' (reset) and 'e' (erase boot0 payload) and 't' (retrain) but nothing worked...

Any ideas ? (My dat0 is kamikazed)

i must see the adapter point that touches the emmc ball under the microscope in order to tell you if the adpter will do. This adapter with one anchor missing is not reliable anymore, the tension might not be enough.
IF you have the correct adapter, even if it has a slight angle difference there is no way to bridge dat0 with dat1. You can check that if you see the gap between the soldering points under the emmc chip at the pic attached.
Also use better flux and a lower soldering temp because your pick is a bit messy. A health install should look like the pics bellow.
I also attached some pics that might interest you.
Sorry for the late reply. I ordered extra ribbon cables for the NAND and replaced it today and now it all works great, thanks for the input!

I have a cheap microscope, it is not dirty just the contrast is off most of the time when taking pictures :D
