Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a Nintendo Switch but even though it's been a few days I'm looking for information, I'm not quite sure about them.

My goal is to set a sysnand for online games and the emunand for the rest.

I went to a few stores and asked gently to look for the serial numbers and sadly any switch was patchable according to the following reference thread:
https://gbatemp.net/threads/switch-...he-first-post-before-asking-questions.481215/

Since I'm kinda giving up, I'm looking for an used Switch and asking the owner its Firmware Version.

Should I ask other information? What Software Version do I need for hacking and installing an emunand?

Thank you everyone and have a nice day.

First patched unit firmware was 4.1.0 , so anything below that should be unpatched, just keep looking if you want an unpatched unit or even buy a banned unit.

Eventually how can I check if a Switch is banned? So I can test it before buying it.

"Should be unpatched" is a way to say "definitely patched" or there's a chance it might be patched?

Ok guys, I was dealing with university and couldn't answer. I found a used Switch in perfect condition with rcmx86 + atmosphere. Since I'm still studying this Switch Hacking Scene It's better If I ask you first.

Is it a good hacked switch to buy ? Can I eventually change like I used to do with the n3ds to another cf?

You can change the CFW at any time.

There is no permanent CFW at the moment for the switch, what you be doing is loading a payload to load a CFW, as long you can enter RCM mode and run a payload then you are good to go. Would be nice if you want to get that unit modded with a mod chip, think you can contact @mattytrog for that.

Well don't go paying crazy amount for one, upper 100 ish to 200 ish is a good price. Just do your search.

Price is around 350€ which is 394$. Consider that here in Italy a new Switch costs around 280€, so I'm paying 70€ for the mod. I'd mod it alone without problems, I Know. but it's kind of being the only option since it's been days I'm looking for one at a moddable firmware but nothing. Perhaps buying a modded one is the only choice for getting one in a short time.

What would you do in my case ?

Plus you are probably getting a used console. There's no way it's worth that much. They are simply preying on those who aren't aware of this website and other similar ones, and don't know that they could save a lot of money by doing it themselves.

Okay I asked around and a friend of mine proposed me a new Switch with chip rcmx86 + atmosphere 6.2 with no emunand installed. It's not banned because it was never connected but only opened for soldering the chip.

Price is good, basically I'm paying just the price of a new Switch, I'm just worried about the mod, with rcmx86 I'm still able to split emunand and sysnand so I can play offline on one and online on the others?

Hi, i am struggling to find a switch myself. I saw a pikachu limited edition one on gumtree for 200gbp but was already sold when i asked..... are both pokemon versions unpatched?

Best place to go is your local "Hash Converters" or "Crack converters". Some crackhead will have pawned a hackable one.
