Photography

Is anyone here interested in photography? I took GCSE Photography last year and achieved an A*, and now I'm at college taking AS level Photography. What equipment do you have, and is anyone else here taking or has done photography courses?

I have a Pentax K110D, which I think is really nice for a 'starter' DSLR. I also have various film cameras including a Pentax ME Super and a Praktica MTL 5.

It's more of a hobby for me. Been taking photos since grade school. Earlier this year I purchased a Canon 400D when I was in Hong Kong for vacation. Just the stock lens though

Perhaps I'll try to get a new lens in the new year!

I like Photography but I suck at it.

Got a Canon EOS 450D+Kit lens atm.
At the moment I'm thinking about buying a Lens hood but I think I need to get better first.

I stick to film, had a 40D, but the issues with dust I had meant I got rid of it quickly, I use both an Eos 5 plus a Konica Minolta 700 SLR, both with a range of 4 lenses each.

I was very lucky in that both kits were given to me by my late father in law in Hokkaido, Japan. The Eos had to be repaired though cos of the famous dial problem, which was exasperated by him dropping it partially down one of the mountains my in-laws own.

For everyday use, I always carry my old Ixy 5, plus a Minolta APS camera for wide shots. Thinking of getting either a G10 or that newish LX3 to replace the Ixy...
