Persona 5 is a game about the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled high school students - the protagonist and a collection of compatriots he meets in the game’s story - who live dual lives as Phantom Thieves. They have the typically ordinary day-to-day of a Tokyo high schooler: attending class, after-school activities, and part-time jobs. But they also undertake fantastical adventures by using otherworldly powers to enter the hearts of people. Their power comes from the Persona, the Jungian concept of the “self”; the game’s heroes realize that society forces people to wear masks to protect their inner vulnerabilities, and by literally ripping off their protective mask and confronting their inner selves do the heroes awaken their inner power, and using it to help those in need. Ultimately, the group of Phantom Thieves seeks to change their day-to-day world to match their perception and see through the masks modern society wears.

Persona 5 will release on Feb. 14, 2017 in the Americas, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Pre-orders are now available at participating retailers. The game is not yet rated by the ESRB. For more information, please visit the official website, atlus.com/persona5

Preordered it just now. Im not joking when i say a bought my ps3 at launch literally for P5.
Even if you meant PS4, I still wouldn't understand. Persona 4 came out 2 years after the PS3, so you wouldn't even have known Persona 5 would exist (at least for that console). Persona 5 was announced two weeks after the PS4 came out, so you still wouldn't have known about it.
Just noticed a thing
Seriously, Atlus? With you and your hot spring scenes, you'd censor something as mild as a sliver of cleavage?

SJW for the win???

This is all knee jerk reaction to all of the crap with Capcom (SFV) and other companies being labeled as sexist over fan service things like this. Totally stupid.

Btw, the preorder was available again at Amazon and Best Buy, ummm now. ;-)

This isn't Nintendo we're talking about. I wouldn't worry about it until it's confirmed things in game have been censored.
I don't think anyone's thinking the game has been censored. If you played Persona 3 or 4 you'd know they've shown much more cleavage in-game (hot springs, anyone?). I don't buy his explanation, though. They had no problem covering it for the Japanese cover and they knew exactly where the ESRB sticker was going to be when they designed the cover art.

Oh, I know that. Even some English Persona 5 trailers showed cleavage, so I wouldn't worry about it. It's just people are taking that cover art way out of proportion.

Can't really blame them for being apprehensive after all of the recent censorship going on. They probably think "It happened to one SMT game (Tokyo Mirage Sessions), so it could happen to another!" Thank goodness Sony isn't as conservative as Nintendo of America is.

I think that moving Morgana over Anne's breasts was just for him to have a better image on the front cover. Nothing really major.

I preordered the limited edition last night at Gamestop. Comes out a week before my birthday :D

I'm buying a PS4 as soon as the price drops. If they announce a new PS4 model at E3, there's a slight chance that the price of the old one drops a little bit

If I remember correctly, I think they were going to offer the new PS4 for less than what the original cost at launch. If that's the case, the small difference in price wouldn't be worth the extra specs and whatnot. Of course, that's my opinion. I'd personally love a Persona 5 New PS4 bundle.
