Looking back it seems like you havent tried to re-install sysmenu was and IOS for 4.3. Installation of the menu should overwrite priiloader/preloader and any hacks that were in place. Have you tried that yet?
Yes; it freezes on the install. I've tried Multi Mod Manager and I've tried Yet Another Wad Manager. Both methods freeze.

Have you tried running a different wad manager outside of MMM and besides YAWM?
I have not. I still have Wanin's ancient WAD Manager. I might just use that.

Thank you and everyone else for helping me, I really do appreciate it.

Have you tried deleting the system menu with AnyTitleDeleter, getting a fresh system menu wad from MODMII and installing a new one with Multi Mod Manager. Make sure you have bootmii as boot2 and a nand backup first.

Just to clarify, did you first install the IOS and then the system menu?
Of course. Anything else would be foolish.

Anyways, I was unaware AnyTitle Deleter would allow deletion of the system menu in the first place. Which version allows this?

Could you post a Syscheck report for us, please?

Also, keep in mind that you have a NAND backup. If you have to use Comex's formatter, you can selectively restore your savegames, channels and misc. content. Just don't use one of the older, precompiled versions of it. I suggest you talk with someone knowledgeable like Mauifrog before you do so.

This is why I haven't updated Priiloader in a little while, the last couple versions reportedly had scary bugs.

I know I can reformat the system and restore my savegames, but I don't want to do that. I want to keep my playtimes and messages, Wii numbers, etc.

Whoa...this is weird. SysCheck freezes on checking IOS30.

EDIT: I'm fixing the ones it is freezing on, I'll pull up a full report when it's finished.

here's the MediaFire download (his syschk).....

kinda went back through this thread to refresh and get all caught up....here's just a couple thoughts based on this syschk....

priiloader re-install issues: i could be wrong here, but when installing priiloader using 236, don't you need a patched SM IOS? IOS80 (4.3's IOS) isn't patched.....
for the priiloader reinstall: what version are you trying to install....have you tried more than one version....?
SM re-install hanging: have you only tried reinstalling 4.3? you have patched SM IOSes for 4.1 and 4.2...have you tried installing either of those?

I have tried installing 4.1 once, and the install work, but it still didn't proceed any farther than the Wii Health & Safety Screen. It never prompted me to press A.

You said in your opener that you used a priiloader hack. Do you mean it wont install now? Can you run the preloader hack remover?
Isn't there a separate tool to remove preloader hacks?

Also maybe you can run Startpatch and enable the "Replace Health Screen...." hack. Can someone confirm if it will be safe to do this?

I was referring to the hack remover tool, maybe I should've been more specific

before you do anything else look for nand clean and run it to make sure you dont have any preloader hacks left on your nand even though you said you installed a new system menu wad worth a shot

I'm not sure if Nand Clean has been updated to remove Priiloader hacks (it works for Preloader hacks).
