Hacking Partioning Hardrive to play wii games and Gamecube

Ok. So i want to be able to play both wii games and gamecube games from the same harddrie I got to partions but can only figure out how to make one active. Which one needs to be active. I use nintendont to play gamecube games. I used easy us partion master to partion it. Please help.

Only one partition can be "active" on a drive. Just format the drive as FAT32 with 32K clusters if possible. Gamecube loaders require FAT32 amd Wii games work fine when copied to the drive using Wii Backup Manager to make them into wbfs files. Just set it to split large games so they fit in the 2GB file size limit.
