The graphics editing and proofreading are progressing as planned but unfortunately the ETC1 and ETC1A texture compression problem of the hacking tool has proved to be quite an issue!

I had the english patch files but deleted them. After watching Dark Net today, I felt like playing this.
Can you please upload the patch again, pleeeeeeease? I mean, the progress is taking ages, so might as well have something than nothing at all.
In terms of reuploading somewhere else, I think you can trust people, since I searched and nobody uploaded them before, not even on that iso site.

That version was for beta testing purposes only back when we were trying to figure out if hacking would create any bugs and what we should look out for, the files were inferior and before they were proofread and corrected and we had to take them down cause people on iso sites kept asking for a distribution of a 3DS file of the beta... The tool is almost ready and once it's finished we'll be able to release the first official partial patch but in the meantime there's the ETC1 and ETC1A texture compression issue we have to solve and while our hacking team is doing their best we'd like new people who are relevant to join out team and perhaps help with this problem...

Actually, don't quote me on this (this came from a friend of mine who's fluent in the language but has no particular interest in translating games) but I hear this game in particular uses rather simple Japanese for the most part on account of largely being a basic conversational sim. It would probably only take one year of active study to be able to grasp most of it.
That should motivate me to stop being lazy... aha...

Hi Juumon, this project is unfortunately for the 2014 3DS version of the game but since you own a NDS you have the option to play the 2009 NDS LovePlus game that has been fully translated by jjjewel's team. Have fun and enjoy~!

Unfortunately they are still missing a few basic functions to be fully functioning, we decided to publish the multi-tools in their current state and ask for people with the right knowledge to take a look and see if they can commit & contribute the coding required for the missing functions:

cool! Im so glad to see a tool has finally been made. Im looking forward to getting to play it when its finally complete. Heres hoping the functions you need are implemented in some way. Im so hyped.
For anybody thinking of updating the character models in the future. Be warned that meshes such as the faces seem to be using morph targets, which means that it's being controlled/animated through a set of determined vertices. Each vertex has its own number; a specific order. If you change that, it may end up in some kind of nightmare fuel or just not working at all.

Sorry but we cannot set a time-frame, we have finished the work for the partial-patch a long time ago and it now all depends on whether and/or when the tools we've requested further help with will be finalized in order to be able to release this for public use.
Yeah, we're having a bit of an issue with making this work, we cannot currently test this with the new tool as it cannot yet handle smes files and the 3D model folders have these type of files but last time we tried this with another method when replacing any kind of facial texture it resulted into the texture not appearing at all:

Well, the picture isn't appearing, either. It just says <IMG> but I can hazard a guess to how it would look. Hmm...sorry. I am an artist. A 3d modeler; not a modder. I only know a little about programming.

They're still working, but it's a niche project and sometimes life just happens. They've been consistently making gradual progress though so even if it takes a while this will probably be done eventually.
