Hacking Painting DS Lite case

Hi,

I have collected a few broken ds lites. Now i want to create my own case (color + drawing). But i dont know anything about painting. Someone can help me out what paint to use, how i should start, things i need to keep in mind stuff like that.

I will Google Up Paints In google

Use primer first
sand
if needed primer it again and sand again until smooth
paint
clear coat
