According to a tester, it doesn't use IOSU. You only need to "install some files".
The only thing I can think of is that he somewhat managed to patch titles downloaded from NUS so they are valid to install or something.

Idk, now I'm very skeptical.

Maybe now that IOSU kernel is possible, maybe play compressed wii/gamecube games? (we have 3 ppc and 1 arm now, instead of just 1 ppc and 1 arm core)

Even better, load the entire game in the Wii U's RAM (would only work for like <2GB games)
