OSM - The Open-Source Smash Mod

OSM is a new mod for Super Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U. As this mod is open-source, the only limits are the community's imagination! Some things that have the potential to change include Characters, Gameplay, Stages, SFX and Music, Skins, and even more! If there's something not yet possible to edit, just let us know and we'll do our best to make it editable for you!

Now this is a new mod, so currently there isn't enough content to have our first release. However, you can see the progress made and even contribute your own changes over on our GitHub! When releases are available for download, they'll be posted in the first reply to this thread.

Join our Discord Server and follow our Twitter for regular updates!

Thank you for your support!

  • Will there be a US/EU/JP release?
US and EU releases for both 3DS and Wii U are planned. JP releases are not currently planned for either system, but are likely to be created if there is enough demand.
  • When will there be a release?
As soon as we feel there is enough content to warrant a release.
  • Can I use your source code for my own mod?
Of course! It is an open source project after all. OSM is licensed under MIT, please see the LICENSE file in the master branch of the github repository for more information on what you can and cannot do with the source code.
  • Why isn't any NSFW content allowed?
This should be obvious. We want a wide variety of people to enjoy this mod, and most people don't actually want NSFW content in the game. If you really want that sort of thing though, you can fork the mod and add such content to your fork, separate from the main OSM repository. This also applies to any other content that you might not want in the main repository or got declined from the main repository.

1. get help on porting modded models from the wiiu version or smash bros infinitefor the to the 3ds
2. make a guide on how to install it that even a drunk obese monkey could do
3. a mod installer cia homebrew would be nice to install mods (like ntrdb/brewman)
4. make a way to include instructions for placement and utilization of the mods when downloading mods on pc
5. be the best person you can be and don't stress out too much on this because as long as you got great people behind this, this will do great

I've been interested in getting into the smash modding scene for a while now, but I can't seem to get my hands on the tools in need to get the game's dump.
Until I can get my hands on that much I'll have to fall down on other's creations.

So yeah, went to a private hospital to take care of it. Public hospitals would take a few years to fix it, I'd rather pay and he done with it.
