Hacking Ordered R4i-SDHC...(soon to post vs. Acekard 2i)

Hello -
I've been lurking in these forums for awhile, and have been waiting for someone to post an Acekard 2i vs. R4i-SDHC article, but I decided to stop waiting and just do it myself. Anyway, I have an Acekard 2i right now and have been using for a week (since I picked up my DSi). So far I love it - altho I have noticed it locks up semi-frequently in games.

Today I ordered the R4i-SDHC from gamekool and I should have it Wednesday. Once I get it, I'll put them both through some general tests and post my semi review/versus article. If there is anything specifically you'd like to know about either one, post it here and I'll be sure to try it out. I'm excited to get the R4i-SDHC and check it out!

there all Clones or Fakes
the REAL R4 team is LONG gone

Acekard 2i will be a Better buy
or
wait for a new set of Dsi cards to come out that could has Dsi mode unlocked

i ordered an r4i too! its legit and everything and i cant wait to get it soon! this is a MUST have for DSi owners.

Yeah - I have to say it looks pretty legit. It may be a clone, but their website looks like its updated pretty frequently: http://www.r4i-sdhc.com/indexe.asp

I might buy that Hyper-R4i too! lol (but I'll have to wait till my next pay day!)

Just because it's a clone doesn't mean it sucks. It looks promising so far. Hell, the R4-III still gets updates.

Yeah, I have R4 III works perfectly no problems. But now i have DSi so i ordered Ak2i last week from dealextreme, I Should have it Thursday or Friday.

R4i-SDHC is DSTTi clone, and use DSTT old kernel (1.15).

Dont buy a clone, these clone will have not support.
you can buy ak2/i, akaio team support this card.

or buy m3ds real, itouchds, ez5,cyclods evo, etc........................

My DSi is updated to firmware 1.3E. I have rec'd an R4i and confirm it works 100% perfectly in the DSi.

Go on the R4i website and you will see for yourself that the card is supported with updates.
