Where are you putting your save files for use with Open AGB Firm?
I put in the correct dir for that already
Have a look at the oaf readme file the section about the eeprom fixer.
Yeah, i tried the fix but still, it doesnt work. The game i tried to cheat is Rockman EXE 6 Gregar.

I like Mgba i can port my save from Switch or Wii to 3DS in Mgba like sharing file
You can do that with OPEN_AGB_FIRM as well. You just need to convert your save files because pretty much all GBA emulators use an incorrect format.

OPEN_AGB_FIRM has some advantages over mgba, since it's not an emulator, so it has close to perfect accuracy, runs at full speed (the 3DS port of mgba often won't manage to do that) and is less power-consuming. Though it also has some disadvantages, such as a lack of save states (at least I would assume the 3DS port of mgba still has those) or support for most custom hardware. But considering mgba often fails to run at full speed on the 3DS, I can't say I find it very useful, personally.

If using FastBoot3DS, enable FCRAM boot in fastboot settings and then install this forwarder. https://gbatemp.net/download/open-agb-launcher.36828/

Thanks for the reply! Just want to make sure i understand you.

The forwarder you linked, as far as i can tell, opens open_agb_firm without booting to a specific game. I am trying to compile .cias of specific games, using the project called open_agb_firm_forwarder. In theory, this project should allow you to install a .cia that boots directly into a specific gba rom using open_agb_firm. I believe that i am making some mistake in my code or build chain, so i would love to speak to anyone that has successfully built one of these .cias and, if at all possible, take a look at the main.c and makefile they used to compile the .cia.

Just to make sure: Are you saying that in order to use open_agb_firm_forwarder, i must first install the forwarder you have linked, which does not boot a specific game? I appreciate any clarity you could bring.

The forwarder i linked only loads your roms list then you choose a game from there and i have never used open_agb_firm_forwarder but you dont need the forwarder i linked to use it.

Hello, dumb question but after reading all the pages I don't think I found a probable answer.

So I have everything working using open_agb but I can't seem to get the config.ini file to respect changes, for example: I was trying to set the scaler=0 so it's 1:1 to use with borders, but the entries seem to be ignored as well as it doesn't display the border.

I placed the respective bgr file in the open_agb folder as stated by the instructions.

Anyone have a sample file file I can compare with or any suggestions I can try. I'm running Luna 3DS with b9s.

Thanks

Try another bgr file, yours maybe bad formatted.
Update oaf to the latest git build.

I'm having the same problem as you. I've been trying to enable the settings to use the circle pad, but my changes to the config.ini file are being ignored
