I'm glad it was just the ROM file! You were right, there's no issue. After hours of confusion it turns out that all the problems were down to using a corrupted ROM file. After replacing the ROM everything works fine again. Thanks!

I don't think there's a dedicated one but there is the general homebrew Discord which probably has plenty of people who know OAF.Btw, does anyone know if there is a Discord server for agb firm?

I’m always surprised when I see that it’s not stickied.I wonder if any admin can stick this thread to increased visibility.
Threads for similar loaders which interact directly with existing hardware are stickied: nintendont, twilightmenu++ come to my mind. So...
Did you try to redownload the file?Doesn't work for some reason. I try loading the payload from the Luma3DS start menu and I get an error.
An error has occurred:
The payload is invalid or corrupted.
Press any button to shutdown
Eyup, first thing I did.Did you try to redownload the file?

Does anyone have an up to date link for the forwarder? does this still work with the latest version?Very cool, nice work!
Side note, there was a chainloader you could compile as .cia to reboot into a .firm payload from the home menu. It might be compatible with this .firm if someone had time to try it out:

Edit: You can download a .cia/.3dsx shortcut from here.

https://github.com/d0k3/GodMode9?tab=readme-ov-file#bootloader-modeAh, it seems like it works but you have to change your firm0 to godmode? I don't understand the advantages/disadvantages of that though. Is this still an ok thing to do? Disadvantages?
Sorry, i'm a bit too out of the loop to understand if this is a good way to setup my 3ds or not?

I mainly linked that because there's a warning saying that this is really only meant for developers. Setup FB3Ds instead.Sorry, i'm a bit too out of the loop to understand if this is a good way to setup my 3ds or not?
Ah - thanks for clarifying. That makes sense. My hesitation to setting up fastboot3ds is that it seems like it hasn't gotten updates & isn't as widely used as B9S (which i assume is what my current firm0 is?). So I was also concerned with what I might be risking by switching to fb3ds.I mainly linked that because there's a warning saying that this is really only meant for developers. Setup FB3Ds instead.

Check the other thread where you were asking about this. Somebody linked nightly builds.Ah - thanks for clarifying. That makes sense.
