Doesn't work for some reason. I try loading the payload from the Luma3DS start menu and I get an error.

An error has occurred:
The payload is invalid or corrupted.
Press any button to shutdown

Where did you get it from?

Are other payloads such as gm9 loading fine?

Very cool, nice work!

Side note, there was a chainloader you could compile as .cia to reboot into a .firm payload from the home menu. It might be compatible with this .firm if someone had time to try it out ^_^ :
New link: https://github.com/Ordim3n/That-Shortcut-Thingy (old link was deprecated).

Edit: You can download a .cia/.3dsx shortcut from here.
Does anyone have an up to date link for the forwarder? does this still work with the latest version?

Ah, it seems like it works but you have to change your firm0 to godmode? I don't understand the advantages/disadvantages of that though. Is this still an ok thing to do? Disadvantages?

I mainly linked that because there's a warning saying that this is really only meant for developers. Setup FB3Ds instead.

Ah - thanks for clarifying. That makes sense. My hesitation to setting up fastboot3ds is that it seems like it hasn't gotten updates & isn't as widely used as B9S (which i assume is what my current firm0 is?). So I was also concerned with what I might be risking by switching to fb3ds.

Check the other thread where you were asking about this. Somebody linked nightly builds.

It isn't widely used, as most people are content with Luma's chainloader, and don't need more flexibility.
It also doesn't need updating, if it already works as intended. b9s doesn't get frequent updates either.

There is no brick risk, if you install fastboot3DS using proper safe methods.
In fact, fastboot3DS is better in the sense, that it *always* powers on, even with a faulty/removed SDCard. No more "blue LED turns on and turns off" nonsense.

Edit: I think the fastboot3DS repo includes those "proper safe methods". I will not say anything, otherwise I'll get pitchforked for suggesting "the" wrong method.
