I just want some open world games to play and there's seems to be a real shortage, any suggestions?
(i've played all of the lego games and super mario 64)

First of all sorry for my crap spelling in the title and second when i say open world i want something like super Mario 64 3d area where you run around and kill monster and find stuff and so on

Wait some weeks and you'll have GTA: Chinatown Wars. Besides GTA... I guess Transformers: The Movie is a semi-sandbox game. FF: Crystal Chronicles also has a 3D environment similar to Super Mario 64 DS.

The problem is that there are too few decent 3D games for DS. A few include:

Crash of the Titans. Unfortunately, this game is probably not what you want. It's 3D, but linear like the PS1 games.

Tak and the Great Juju Challenge. This one is decent if you can get past the horrendous driving stages.

Transformers. There are 2 versions of this game- Autobots and Decepticons. I didn't really like the game, but some people did. It's a sandbox style game like GTA.

Rayman DS. This is a pretty mediocre port of the great Rayman 2. It's fully 3D though and used to be an excellent 3D platformer. Unfortunately, the DS port is plagued by choppy action, unresponsive controls, and blocky graphics. Still, if you've never played Rayman 2, and/or you can get over the flaws, it's still a good game.

Spyro Eternal Night is a fully 3D explorable game, but I really hated it. You MAY like it, but it's pretty bad.

My cousin actually lives and breathes transformers so i have had a run in with both games and they were pretty mediocre.... and most third party games revolving around a movie or show suck quite harshly.... guess i'll wait till chinatown!

On topic:
that randomness reminded me of Star Wars Clone Wars Jedi Alliance. Fully 3D. It has good and bad parts, but it's one of the most impressive DS games and has a lot of action.

Tony Hawk's American Sk8land is amazing.

Oh, yeah, Tony Hawk. Good ol' Tony Hawk. To be honest, I prefer Proving Ground over American Sk8land. Both are great games. Proving Grounds has an amazing soundtrack (if you don't mind modern pop-rock...).

In addition to the ones already mentioned there was Deep Labyrinth and the Eragon game had an interesting execution (I did a bunch of work on the 3d formats but nothing really came of it in the end). Neither are especially good compared to the PC ones.

Can I also suggest the roguelikes (POWDER being my favourite).

i would say tony hawk american sk8land, animal crossing and transformers. there the only games that i have played that you can roam around its world.

What would work, but it's all in one town.
