using the offline installer for oothax it says failed to open payload: file not found
but when i put the payload in the sd its just below the installer stuff

when using the other installer it says error ffffffe?? what is going on!!!

im using a 9.7 2ds to upload it to work on 10.2 so i can use it on my 3ds which is on 10.2

Named it payload.bin in sd:/3ds/oot3dhax_installer/ ? for the offline installer

Like most of us, OoT3DHax isn't working properly. It will crash when you try to get into the homebrew. You can however, get the 10.2 payload and try it.

The 10.2 payload is available from here.

I don't think there's any way to get around this atm unfortunately. And more than likely, it will still not work if you keep trying.

it seems that oothax is the most complicated to set up and a pain to use and theres not really any simple guides to teach you how to use it either,

IMO, it's just as complicated as it is to install IronHax. There's just not enough support for Oot3DHax. :/

http://www.mediafire.com/download/nmz771n1gb97ak7/Themehax_Installer_offline_v1.2.zip

2.1 payloads are in the otherapp folder.
Because smea took down the 2.1 payloads from his website and completely replaced them with the 2.5 ones. This is the only place I could find that has all the 2.1 payloads.
So if I were to go on that one and upload that to my oot I will have access to the old homebrew? And be able to use save manager to extract my Pokemon save etc....???

I'm linking to that for the 2.1 payloads. You copy the payload to oot3dhax offline installer so you can install 2.1 if you can't get 2.5 to work.

Yes you will be able to edit your pokemon saves. And themehax is an alternative to Oot3DHax. Seems that if you are able to install Oot3DHax, you'd be able to install themehax to run the latest homebrew 2.5. So if you wish to sacrifice themes on your 3DS to gain access to 2.5, then that would be the better choice.

I was under the impression themehax wether it be 2.5 or lower doesn't work on 10.2? Which is why I've gone for oothax? Either way tomorrow I'll upload the 2.1 stuff to my oot and see if I can get that running, I'm not really bothered about using to much stuff straight away if I can use some of it and wait for the next load it's better than nothing aye

Ohhh, you're on 10.2. Yea, in that case, themehax isn't possible. But if you manage to install 2.1 tomorrow, you will have access to save manager and svdt to extract and inject your saves.

oot3dhax on 2.1 was pretty cool, showed the ninjhax 2.1 loading screen just like it would if you were using cubic ninja or ironfall, but with 2.5 payloads it just shows a garbled screen instead until it boots into HBL.
Still works, but ah well :P would have been cool imo if you could get the nice ninjhax 2.5 loading screen like you had with 2.1.
Not really an issue but an observation I made. I wonder if oot3dhax could be updated later to include that? Probably not needed since it works regardless.

Also funny thing is, I'm using themehax to boot 2.5, and most times it seems to hang or crash when it tries to load. But with oot3dhax, seemed like it works and loads into HBL every time without fail.

Got oothax 2.5 to work on N3ds 10.1 J, it does show the ninjhax 2.5 loading screen...

I unfortunately have an O3DS XL with 10.1.27 and all of the following blocked: Browserhax, Tubehax, and Ironhax 1.1.

However, I have OOT3D and another O3DS XL with 9.9 and Ironhax 1.0 which is still functional. Is it possible to use the working hacked 3DS to install oot3Dhax, and then use the cartridge to update the hax on the 10.1.27 3DS, either by updating the Ironfall payload or installing themehax?

Here's what I tried myself: I used save_manager to write the save00 file to my cart, but I couldn't do it with payload.bin in the same folder. I tried using the most updated oothax installer made specifically for 10.1, but it gives me an FFFFFE error and can't download the payload. If any of this is possible, what are the proper steps? Thanks!
