temkin disclosed the vulnerability to nvidia.
nvidia forwarded it to all vendors who are using a vulnerable chipset, as they always do in case of something critical like this. does that really suprise you?

Just came home and saw that third post of yours. @Don Jon i'd like to see a quote or something, because Temkin stated that she disclosed it to nvidia, she also stated that she didn't sign anything regarding the nintendo switch, and none of the pages you linked say it was disclosed to nintendo.

You were (and still are) misinformed, but that doesn't make you a moron. Some of the other stuff you made up and statements like "they sold it to nintendo" or whatever it was you were saying did.
That was just the icing on the cake.

Verified what? That they disclosed the bug to all it concerned? As in Nintendo/NVIDIA?

I'd like to play unbiased third party here. Based on the facts, the bug is from a chip that Nvidia manufactures and not Nintendo. Nintendo just happen to outsource the chip for one of their consoles, the Nintendo Switch. This means they are not responsible for the production of it nor can they fix the exploit even if they were aware of it. Therefore, even if someone disclosed the problem to Nintendo, they are not the ones who can fix it meaning that responsibility falls on Nvidia's shoulders alone.
