Online courses help

Does anyone know where I can get cheap online courese on encryption and decryption. I finished high school and I am very knowledgable around math and computer science, know some basic Java. Can anyone recommend me on courses that are on these for my level? Thanks

Berkley puts most of their classes online that anybody can get for free, although you can't get credit

The thing is that I need a diploma or credit of some sort to make my resume look better.

i don't know whether this is the right site for this kind of help, but you should maybe try a junior college near you and see if they offer the courses you want.(it is not as bad as you think because even students from major universities come during the summer to get ahead, but do think of later on going to a major university)

Not overly familiar with the Canadian education system but hevyhomie has the same advice as I would give. Also have a look at "ethical hacking" courses, naturally they contain some encryption based stuff.

You could also study it yourself and sit an exam a la home schooled people.
