The SuperCard has a SanDisk SD-card in it, onto which I have loaded FlashMe v7 (a "raw" .nds file - it has not been converted using the SC software) and the proper file needed for my PassMe2 (in this case it’s a GBA-file for the US-Demo of Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt).
So if I buy a superpass 2, can I use the same file you used?

I guess so - if you program/flash the SuperPass2 to work with the MPH demo (the review here at GBAtemp states that the SP software "comes with the JED, .gba file, and .sav file needed" though, so no need to worry).

The following message has been moved here from the bottom of the previous page in order to get more attention:

Alert: It has been reported to me that previously hosted FlashMe-files in my guide wasn't "Lite-friendly" (as in no added support for the console's different brightness levels) and thus I have replaced them with new files that are sure to be the final version of FlashMe v7 that really does support the Lite’s brightness levels.

Thus I urge everyone who has used the links provided here in my guide to erase those files and download them again! Thank you and I do apologise for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Be sure to re-install FlashMe again have you already used the previously hosted files! Sorry everyone, I can't understand what went wrong...

You can add another successful flash using this tutorial.

I had flashed my old blue DS too but I was kinda shaky about flashing my new (and still cool factored) Lite, specially when reading about easily blowing up fuses and shutting it off randomly. But it was a piece of cake. Took my precautions and wrapped my tool! Upon contact BAM!!! it went straight to 100% without any hickups in roughly 15 seconds.

Thank you for providing that extra confidence and tips that were needed!

Also using aluminum has me a little spooked. Would wrapping a stand of copper wire down the middle of the toothpick be a better? ie a better conductor?

No, there's more of a chance to unravel. Use a little eyeglass screwdriver or those useless tiny screwdrivers that come in tool box kits, wrap the tip with tin foil, and then you can use electrical tape to wrap around the tinfoil securely, only leaving the very tip exposed.

I used a bit of foil on the end of a screwdriver to flash mine. I didn't believe at first how good using foil actually is. As soon as it touched the SL1 it started to flash, took about 15 seconds. Anyone flashing the ds lite I would recommend Aluminium foil. Mine didn't unravel, I did put some insulation tape round the foil apart from the tip. This would have insulated the tool and the foil had no chance of unraveling.

I look at the tool you created and wounder how you use it.. (http://www.megaworm.com/4image/data/tmp_media/toothpick1.JPG)

It's shaped like a "I", and if "(I)" is SL1, do you use your tool this way "I" or "-" way?

Hopefully you'll understand what I mean

I make my "tool" by cutting both ends of a q-tip, i then stuff aluminium foil down the middle of the plastic tube and leave a bit exposed at the end, i then hammer the end with the aluminium foil flat so that there is a thin piece of aluminium surrounded by plastic

I am also confused about this. Do you insert the toothpick into the hole between the two semicircles and wiggle it until it connects, or do you just put the toothpick horizontally so that it contacts both semicircles on the top?

You know what. Whatever way you put it in, it wont work initially. Just shove your tool in any way it will fit, and wiggle it about. I simply spin the tool around, making contact with the S1, till the percentages rise, then try and hold this position.

I think you want to use the tool "I" way, but honestly, you may find a spot that works where your tool is "-" way, so its sort of luck.
