    Wow, that's pretty sweet stuff. So I need to put the installation software on my USB/CD then, install it on the laptop, and will it remove the virus?

    No, you download the file and run it, and it offers to burn a CD for you. Let it burn the CD, then you boot the CD in your computer and...

    You know what, I'm just going to post my infection-removal guide from another forum here, it includes detailed instructions with pictures.

    The lobe's correct, though I would skip the scheduled scans and just leave the realtime protection always on. This is the guide I posted, the "super removal" section shows you how to use the disc.

    Click the Malwarebytes logo in my signature, and burn it to a USB, boot it up and run a custom scan.

    It's an offline version of Malwarebytes that runs without your infected Windows, so the virus has nowhere to hide itself and replicate.
