Olympic Fever

I've never really paid too much attention to the Olympics. But seeing as it's being posted on sites all over the web, it's hard not to. Right now the US has the most medals but I believe it doesn't count since they are equally gold silver and bronze which isn't very impressive. China is in second with 3 medals less than us, but check this out: Over 50% of their medals are gold. That's freaking amazing! Do they do this well every time, or are they just showing out since they are hosting it? Discuss.

The US media work out medal tables differently to the rest of the world - only on American websites, TV and newspapers will you see the US top (Not that they're doing this just to make themselves top, it's how they've always displayed them)
