I found a couple of old launch phatpsps that I haven't turned on in like a year. Is there any reason to update them? If so why?

also anyone whose played PSP games this were there any outstanding ones worth checking out? I mainly like classic rpgs, y's style rpgs, and classic platformers like masterblaster & shadow complex.

    thx!

The 5.x CFWs have been dead for a while, the 6.x ones are under active development and include some nice new features and the ability to play newer games with less/no hassle.

The PSP's library isn't as large as the DS's, so most sites will cover the same sort of range of popular games.

I recommend the PRO series, but some people prefer the ME series due to it sometimes having new features before the PRO (as it's partially for testing).
