Back before the 3.21 update I had installed Ubuntu on my PS3 hoping for a way to keep it and upgrade. Eventually I got tired of waiting and upgraded to get back on PSN. I've read up a bit on OtherOS++ and it allowing full hardware access for Linux, but I was wondering if I ever hacked my PS3 and installed OtherOS++, could I use my old Ubuntu partition that's still taking up space on my HDD, or would I have to do a fresh install?

if it's already installed I don't see a reason why it shouldn't work (maybe you need to change some settings)
just remember to backup things you might need
or wait for someone that knows this stuff better than me
