We were covering the basketball unit in PE, and we had 2 tests. 1 was a written test( I got 100%) and the other was a skills test. At 1st, I thought they were just gonna see if we get the technique right. I was wrong. We got our grades tofay, and I noticed something odd about how we were graded, this pic will explain it.

Anyone can make a basket.

Even the mentally retarded can play basketball (there's a mentally retarded kid in my neighborhood who plays basketball all the time, makes the baskets too, and he's like spaced all the time).

Even those with no legs can make baskets.

You should get out more.

You don't have to give a rats ass to be able to make a basket, it's simply tossing a ball... Seriously man, you're sounding pathetic.

my point is, it shouldnt be a requirement to make it in in one shot, cuz even pros mess up sometimes too(not calling myself a pro)

He's just saying that for a PE grade, you shouldn't actually have to make baskets. It should just be about technique and using the skills you learned in the class effectively. As most schools have PE requirements and not everybody is good at sports, they shouldn't grade you on how well you do, just that you're trying and that your technique is solid.

I think they shouldn't have done that in the first place. Nobody expects you to make the basket on the first try, especially those that don't take the sport as seriously.

Although I think it's bullshit that they grade making the basket twice, don't get so uptight and bitch on the Internet about not being able to shoot a basket and it affecting your PHYSICAL EDUCATION grade. No one is gonna give a shit about it later and nothing matters once you get into a nice college or something. PE should be pass or fail.
