Gaming Offline NXE update

My friend doesn't have an Internet connection in his house, for now, but he wants to update his 360 to get the NXE. I know that there is an official offline update for the 360 but it is the "fall update". Is there an official "NXE offline update" out there?

Nope. I searched for it, but it doesn't seem MS released an official offline update for NXE like it did with the other updates.

You'll have to get it "somewhere"

I think that's it. Just labelled as fall 08 update.

There was one floating around torrent sites. I don't think it's the official MS one though.

I have a copy of the leaked NXE. You cant use avatars and stuff but it works. Thats about all I can think of unless that Fall update is the NXE

Before my 360 was connected to the internet, I just went to the Microsoft website, downloaded the Fall 08 update and chucked it on the USB. Plugged it into the 360 and it the prompted to update.
Is it me or is the old style better than the NXE.

They really should have an option to go back to the old style but with the new features intergrated into it.
