It was the Japan version, not the English version.

I played a bit of Okami on my friends Wii, and it was really entertaining. Pretty excited to try this one out once it gets released.

From what i can make out from the thread, it's only available in selective stores, most of them are holding up will the 15th.

Hopefully we just might see an early release xD

I do not know anything of Okami, but since I have heard it deals with Japanese mythology I went right ahead and preordered it at my local game shop. I do not know if there are any bonuses, but what is a bonus for preordering when you're guaranteed to have the game you want?

Okay, so from what I can see, everyone who preordered the game in the US was able to pick up their copy today - 4 days before the actual release. In other words, there's quite a few people who have the game now. Hopefully we'll see an early dump as well! :3

Actually, I called the local game shop and they said it was available for everyone, not just those who preordered it.

Have a Wii or PS2? If so, do yourself a favor and pick up the original Okami for either of those systems. If you have a thing for Japanese mythology or just amazingly beautiful games, Okami is deeply satisfying.

Release date was pushed up. It's available already.

a private torrent site im part of says they got the rom im gonna try it and see if it is USA or E okamiden but its probably JP

If you find a rom claiming to be the (E) version, that's definitely a lie, as that date hasn't been pushed up. I'm European myself, and can confirm that it's not out yet.
