Available now is Octopath Traveler 0, the latest standalone entry in the Octopath Traveler series. A launch trailer was aired for the occasion:

In OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0, players will experience a story of restoration and retribution over the divine rings in an epic saga that unfolds across the realm of Orsterra. The game features returning core elements from the series, and–for the first time in series history–players will be able to customize their own protagonist and rebuild their hometown after it has been destroyed with the new town build feature. The story builds upon that of the mobile game OCTOPATH TRAVELER: Champions of the Continent, adding new story content where players rebuild their town, and reinterpreted story beats unfold throughout. Fans familiar with the series can enjoy the return of its iconic HD-2D art style, the ability to interact with other characters in various ways through Path Actions, and the Break and Boost battle system which can turn the tide of battle.

Octopath Traveler 0 is now available for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store.

Wouldn't be surprised if she was one of the staff and was like we need you for the commercial. They really should have made it weirder like Tenchu's PS1 commercial (but much weirder) for it to have any impact.

I remember playing the "Project Octopath Traveler" beta for Switch and giving feedback about the upcoming game. So happy to see this series coming such a long way in such a short amount of time.

Oh my goodness, the ads of the olden days.

I remember seeing the Paper Mario one where a cardboard Paper Mario is thrown into the water. Then, it "swims" forward at a fast pace. How about the live-action Smash Bros. ad where the characters actually fight? Before those two, there was that Yoshi's Island ad, where the man eats until he explodes. I remember them because they were so absurd.

This ad could not have been more by-the-numbers. The only thing missing was the lady winking to the camera.

You managed to communicate the essentials without dragging on or overloading the reader. That made this post especially effective. rebahin
