Homebrew O3DS Replacing Shells with new ones?

I have been thinking about replacing both the top & bottom shell on an old 3ds but the problem is I can't find any guides meant for it.

Any recommended guides?

Maybe you can do a tear down then put everything into the new shell?

It sounds easy, but i'm slightly concerned about the ribbon cables and other components.

And of course, most of this does not require any soldering skills correct? (Unless something broke?)


The bottom should be the easiest part, top part not so much.
