Hardware O3DS Powers on itself just with Powerline connected.

Hey up everybody.

Strange problem here.

Got a O3DS today wich seems to be totaly uncharged. So plugged the cable in and the thing starts fine.
Had FW1.0.0E on it?! Is this even possible. Was there ever a FW this low?

Anyway i left the cabel in there and updated official through internet.
Now i want to trigger Sleep Mode but the Thing is the Device always restarts after shut down.
By itself... so as long as the Power Plug is connected i cant shut it down as it is always restarting.

When i unplug the connector it doesnt turn on at all.

Tested with another Batterie, sane behaviour.
Has anyone ever came along this error?

I dont have a clue what can cause this but also don´t want to disassemble it as this Error happend already before i did anything.

From the sound of it and since it didn't work with another battery, it's almost definitely a kiosk unit (those they have for testing out and display in stores/expos). They can only work and only stay on if plugged in the power supply adapter. If you don't mind taking it apart to make sure, there recently was a post (guide of sorts) telling you how to tell apart kiosk units from regular ones and how to convert between them if you know how to solder/modify.

So after opening the Thing i recognized the upper Solution is for 2DS only...

Now i´m wondering if anyone found the "sweet Spots" on the O3DS as well
