Oothax will fully work on o3ds if you are are on 11.3 or lower. As for cfw and homebrew it's kinda complicated but basically Nintendo patched the way the homebrew worked/using, cfw fixed the fix giving the ability use the old payloads, the new payloads are finicky and only recently have they been fixed but only for the n3ds.
The o3ds with cfw does work. Its for the people out there that got just userland homebrew on 11.4
that is that i wanna know ...so if a new payload for the old 3ds comes out ...then it were possible ...ithan i could grab oot and hack without CFW..and not needed to buy this overpriced cubic ninja ....the lucky developers ...the games selling good ...but its cruel ....only the exploit make this damm price ...i know i must the buy ar powersave ..but its much cheaper

That is correct, after smea releases updated fixed payloads for the o3ds you could use any entry point but there's no eta and please don't bug smea about it.
The payloads arent compatible with non-CFW 11.4

Cubic Ninja didnt really sell good. Also, some Gamestops had them for 20-30 USD
Guys plz help if u can. Im the most stupid person living on this world. I bought o3ds with luma and homebrew and i update system from 11.3 to 11.4 and everything was working. And yesterday i formated o3ds and now i cant use my sdhc card with luma and homebrew and games, o3ds doesn't see it, is there anything i can do with that to fix it?
Without a nand and SD card backup you won't be able to recover save game data as for getting everything back up and running all you have to do is put the files where they need to be which the biggest is is putting lumas .bin into the root of the sdcard. This will make it run luma again assuming you have a9lh the rest you can figure out on your own since I don't know what homebrew/stuff you had installed so I can't help put it all back together.

Hey does anyone know if there is a loophole for o3ds 11.4 yet? I just got a vanilla o3ds a few days ago and it was already updated when i got it. (yes its used so what i got it for $10) Anyways i want to put my snes games on it and possably my gba games it seems the o3ds kinda went dud on everyone who updated to 11.4. Does anyone have a solution yet?
Not even. The payloads are broken on o3ds period.So yeah either cubic ninja or freakyforms deluxe

Smealum supposedly said it would take a while. Back in April. It's been 3 months already and who knows how much longer...
I suppose he's too busy to update it these days.
