I have homebrew installed.
I need to download ios 249 or watever.
I've been told from the readme that I need to put IOS36-64-v1042.wad into the SD root, but such a file does not exist in that download. I only have CIOS36_rev7-Installer.dol, which I have no idea how to use. I have tried putting that into the SD root, but nothing appears in SD channel / homebrew.

put the rev 7 installer in SD:apps/cIOS36_rev7/installer.dol
rename the installer.dol to boot.dol
load from homebrew channel
choose network if you have wi-fi
if not choose wad and have IOS36-64-v1042.wad in the SD root
install
profit!

rev 7 is abit out dated i recommend using the rev 14 installer, alot of updates and fixes aswel as better compatibility

I now have a new problem >.>
I think I sucessfully installed Cios.
But I've tried 3 usb loaders and I have 3 different results
For USB Loader GX v 1.0, The screen goes blank.
For CoverFloader, after I press load, homebrew restarts and brings me back to the list of apps.
For Ultimate USBLoader, It says it cannot find Cious 249

Posts merged

And I installed rev14 instead of rev 7 as people suggested

NOTE: check the serial number on your Wii. If it starts with LU64 or higher, I don't think this hack is compatible with your Wii.

Found this on another guide, is this true? If it is then this might be the problem
