Feature suggestion:

Auto mark already played stuff or show the progress bar. I'm mostly watching stuff using smb shares and missing that kind function, to be oriented what was the last episode I watched of anime, for example.

I've tried to connect to my samba server on raspberry pi. Doesn't work out. Other hardware can connect to it.
Code:
TestSamba = smb://pi:[email protected]/share/
Probably I don't understand the syntax of it. Could you explain what /share/ means or "share is a share name not a path"?

Share refer to the name of the folder that is shared on the network.

On your raspberry pi, If you look into your /ect/samba/smb.conf

You should have the list of your share folder shown

Like
[Movies]
comment = comment about the shared folder
path = /media/usb1/movie/
browsable = yes
writable = yes
guest OK = yes

In this example,
The path is of the share is /media/usb1/movie/
The share name is Movies

Just a question, is there touch control for the switch when playing videos? I mean on screen touch controls like play, stop, pause, FF, Rev and exit? Touch screen controls work up fine outside of video playback just not during video playback. If there is a way and I missed this can you tell me how it can be enabled.

Hi all, i am very very busy with my work, so i didnt work too much on nxmp, but an update for resolve some bugs is on the way.
It will update ffmpeg and usb library, so i hope this will close many issues.
Ans some facts on the two version.
Deko3d is the best version in terms of performance, and with the next update also for stability.Opengl will work but it uses more cpu so the battery drain faster.

For m3u the parser works only on local m3u files not for opening a remote m3u.
More dev updates in the weekend. Hope so!
Enjoy
Any update? Hope everything is going well with you.

hi, at one point during a video, I accidentally pressed B, then the video's black and white values froze, while the colors of the video changed according to the video and the sound was working properly. I had to close and reopen the app because nothing seemed to help.

Which version and build were you using?
OpenGL or Deko3D?
Were you watching from the SD card or a network location?

let me see, the version is 0.9.0 stable, for the second thing you ask I don't know.
Since the network connected pc uses a password, I figured I had to get the video on the sd card.
After I posted this, I had the video's colors freezing while the black and white values were playing, this time without touching the controls at all
After some research, it could be related to the television in itself though, well nothing else than viewing a video on this program did this glitch but the google search got us to see some topics about the cinema mode of a television.
Our TV is a Samsung from the early "smart tv" era (lots of its programs are obsolete, can't even have netflix on it). We haven't figured another way than closing the app and open it again. Makes me wish it had at least a memory of the position, language and subtitle settings when you replay a video it has already played.

I still have a problem with screen dimming every 5 minutes. My switch settings is turned off (burn in reduction). I tried with another player for test and its the same.

Anyone knows a fix? Cant watch a movie with waking the screen every 5 minutes + joycons lose battery.
The setting is not working? Anyone else have the same problem?
