Hacking NTR screenshots in 3DS camera

Is there any chance of an update to the screenshots plugin of NTR that would save the images as MPO files? I read that it is the format the 3DS camera app requires.

I'm partway through the Water Temple of OoT, using Game Notes to make notes of things to come back to, assuming it was saving a screenshot of where I was at the time. The notes I made were assuming the map image was being saved but it wasn't and now all my notes are useless :-( I thought I'd try taking a screenshot with NTR and using the graffiti feature of the camera to write notes, but the images don't appear in the camera as they aren't in the right format.
