One of the most important features that modded 3DS allow is video streaming to a computer via NTR Cfw. Using the stock settings and the latest version can yield decent results, but with a bit of tweaking you can get increases of 10+ frames consistently depending on your wireless setup.
First of all start NTR Debugger and use the connect command to connect to your IP
connect('192.168.0.XXX', 8000)
Here is the default settings for NTR
remoteplay(priorityFactor = 5, quality = 90, qosValue = 20)
And my modified settings
remoteplay(priorityFactor = 2, quality = 80, qosValue = 100)
It reduced the quality just a bit, almost not even noticeable. The bottom screen also benefits from this as it is much smoother than stock settings.
My wireless setup is pretty simple, I have an old dual band router, am about 5-7 feet away from it, and used my laptop on the 5 Ghz network.
Here is the results, the difference is actually pretty incredible
