I have been looking at the various threads regarding NSMB and I am wondering if there is anything that needs to be done in order to play the backup game through NeoGamma r7? I am currently on a 4.1U firmware with rev 14 installed. I have noticed that the NSMB PAL game needs some fixing in order to get it to work.

Does this apply to the NTSC version?

Same thing applies. There's an alt dol for the NTSC version floating around. There should be an Ocarina code as well, though I haven't seen that yet.

Or does the PAL version work as a disc?

Best thing to do it try it yourself, as it works for some and not for others.

Yes it can. I use the alt dol method from SD card and an unmodified backup disc. I think the next NeoGamma beta will auto patch.

Or just put the whole game on SD card as suggested.

And there are some toy lines that have their own worldbuilding that also look great but I'm buying my 80s Saturday morning cartoon merch first.
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
I've been ordering them from a mix of aliexpress, temu and model kit stores with discounts (sea stores give big discounts on singles day and new years).

I recently discovered Archecore, the models look great but they're hella expensive.

no, it has hiragana on the website and facebok

toy alliance is also registered in japan so dunno

At least it is legally licensed in Japan, unlike most. Which could add to the cost.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Apparently they're Taiwanese. Whether that's China is up to debate :tpi:
  • Veho @ Veho:
License fees always jack up the price.

There are some officially licensed non-Lego sets and they cost almost as much as Lego. Great designs and stuff, but they are 'spensive.
