Homebrew Not64 Update

Has anyone taken the reins on this? Extrems looks busy with other things and this was becoming increasingly promising. Just curious if I've overlooked maybe anyone else working on this or maybe there is something new out there?

Extrems is still actively updating Not64, just very slowly. Fortunately, his releases each contain great progress, although he releases updates maybe twice a year. Just be patient and wait for his next release.

You're right. My mistake. They both tend to release updates about as frequently, though.

Hmm, I suppose so, oh well (still baffled on why Not64 uses linear interpolation for audio though).

Last I knew the April 2016 was the latest release of it, unless I'm missing something.

I italicized "maybe" for a reason.
Before 4/20/06, people thought Extrems was dead or something since he hadn't released an update since Feb. 2015.
By the way, the latest release was on December 9th. You can get it here if you need.

I have more faith in Mystro than any of the GC-Forever guys honestly.

Give the man a break, for god's sake! He has a job and a life in which he can't spend all day on a computer developing Not64 just because people can't stop whining if he doesn't. Be glad it's there as a viable alternative way to play N64 games on your Wii that aren't on VC/can't be injected into a WAD. He deserves more praise than people like me who get a lot of it for doing absolutely jack shit other than answering some peoples' questions on forums. You should be thankful he's still working on it despite the constant bitching and disrespect from people who expect speedy updates.

Oh I was talking about the actual so called originals devs of the emulator, not Extrems.
He and Mystro are what is keeping that thing alive, because otherwise we'd have next to shit in terms of updates.
But still, twice a year is... An exagerated claim, even for Extrems.

the_randomizer will always appear on emulator's threads whining about the same stupid things over and over (specially if it's WiiSX or Not64), complaining about linear interpolation, the dynarec core, the lack of updates, that there is no interest, blah blah. The guy was banned from GC Forever for causing trouble and insulting the guys that get the job done. His real name and the many accounts he uses for harassing developers were published on a thread over there, because the guy just did not stop. Don't be surprised about his entitling to everything emulation related.
