No internet on the Wii.

Thanks for the help; I still have a few questions though. You said to use IOS36 during installation. Does that mean my Wii has IOS35 as well as 36? It won't pose a problem? Also, if this is done, then can I consider steps 4 & 5 of this guide as done? I can run Neogamma then...?

Does red steel 2 work ok on burned dvds? I have the latest ios and neo gamma (as far as I know)
will this run ok?
I'm also buying a wii motion plus from ebay so I'm just kinda hoping thats going to work and not be some sort of cheap rip off.

any info would be appreciated ^^

I had a further look at that guide, and it is outdated.

I would suggest using Modify Any Wii 4.2 and Below guide instead.

But you don't have to follow any giudes ATM since you now have cIOS249 installed, and are now capable of using NeoGamma (latest version is R9 AFAIK BTW).

...however, I DO suggest you install bootmii and make a NAND backup of you haven't already done so, and then after doing that, install priiloader.

It should work fine.

But you will have to wait for your WM+ to arrive before playing as the game requires it to play.

BTW: Latest cIOS249 is rev19, and AFAIK latest NeoGamma is R9.

unfortunately not, you can either use a usb device and a usb loader to play iso's or burn the iso to a dvd and play it using a backup launcher such as neo gamma.

Thanks again. I saw that guide earlier and got confused. If I don't update to 4.2, will I be at a loss in any way? Or is it necessary? I can install cIOS49, and then play from NeoGamma right? Also, I have BootMii installed as boot2 and the screen comes up when I start my Wii with the SD card inserted, so do I still install Priiloader? I don't think I need Priiloader.

Don't skip steps, it might pose problems later.

Alright. I have BootMii, the Homebrew channel and the NeoGamma channel already installed. This won't be a problem will it? It should get over written I think?
Only if it needs to be.

Hi guys.
I'm having two problems.

1st I'm definetely on an outdated HomeBrewChannel version I wanna know if there is any way to update it via-HBC or WadManager. I'm on 3.2U

2nd I wanna install BootMii if someone could link me to a guide or something I searched for it on the Search too but didn't find any consistent page that would help me.

Thank you

Run the Hackmii installer with the HBC and install the newest HBC and BootMii

Thank you.

I'll just search HackMii on the Wiibrew.org.

Also, is there any problems with the BootMii instalation? I'm doing it just to prevent a unwelcome brick.

its not on the wiibrew website, its on a bootmii website, if u google it, u will find it

bootmii is great, no problems with the latest release

u are doing this to prevent an unwelcome brick?? Is there such a thing as a welcome brick?

Ok, I'm following this, and I've finished "Update 4.2". I've installed all the IOSes. And all this while BootMii was installed in Boot2. So, should I start the process again and reinstall all the IOSes after installing BootMii as IOS or can I just install BootMii as IOS and proceed with Modifying 4.2?

BootMii as IOS only occupies one IOS slot which does not interfere with any of the other IOSes. If you haven't installed BootMii as IOS, feel free to do so and then proceed as normal with the instructions.
