I'll look into Wii U stuff once I get more time to dedicate to this project. I appreciate everyone enjoying the emulator while patiently waiting for the next update :)
If I'm not mistaken, the Wii U's Bluetooth is the same as the Wii's—so much so that the controllers connect to each other.

This is shaping up quite nicely, great job! I am also waiting for some compatibility with the wiiu (gamepad compatibility, and a vwii forwarder and wiiu WUP forwarder would be delightful)

My biggest concern with the current status of the project is how it freezes on Wii hardware sometimes, I suspect it has something to do with how filters are implemented and it's possibly leaking memory somewhere, that's probably what I'm gonna try and fix first. I don't personally own a Wii U but I know a few people who are willing to test that functionality for me, so bear with me if it takes a while as I'm not super familiar with Wii U homebrew specifically.

I suspect this, because it runs very slowly in Mega Man Zero 4.

Something I remembered in the mean time is that since you are using vba-gx as the mainframe, wiiu gamepad compatibility might be already inherited. Indeed, I was able to make a forwarder to your emulator that enables the use of the gamepad. For anyone interested, it is here.

I got it downloaded

Got the Lastest Version

Sega Arcade Gallery works like 95%

On VBA-GX the Audio skips

Love Selecting your Color when you choose GBC Mode

Is it possible when you select Super Game Boy 1 or 2, Custom Palettes like in the SGB?

If anyone wants to use this through the wii u menu.

Download either Wii U to vwii forwarder here (preferably any of the GBA ones)

Then rename the folder that you place in "apps" to either "mGBA" or "VBAGX" depending on which forwarder you downloaded.

my bad, one is already made.

(Unrelated but does anyone know where I can find any GBP borders to use with this? Thanks.)

I set this up the other night and can get it running on 4.1E firmware Wii but have had it crash a few times, completely locking up the system and normally a few minutes within use of running a game (GB/GBC and a GBA rom)

Apps and roms running from SD but also duplicates on an external via a Ycable (paths I believe are correctly set as SD)

Really likeing the UI on this one. Have installed Mgba just to try that out and no crashing as of yet

Is their anything in particular that can be done to help fault find or when you have time free that could help. I know you said you were mindful of a memory leak maybe ?

All the best and loving it so far, just a shame I can't use it fully atm

Certainly, the source is up on GitHub so if anyone wants to take a look at it feel free. I know how frustrating the freezing issue is, especially when your game doesn't autosave and you lose progress.

Also i'm not sure if this has been reported already, but interframe blending seems to cause games to lag, i can deal without proper transparency effect but i just wanted to point that out!

I'm actually using this on my wii u and for the most part it works just as people have been reporting, so things like freezes do happen on here, I'm happy to report more if needed as I'm using this via wii u
